Is there a charge for samples?

Nope. We send out FREE courtesy sample memos to all trade interior designers and even encourage letting us help you select all the best options that meet your project requirements. We can also dropship samples packages direct to your client upon request.

Are return of samples required?

Nope, however we do send pre-labeled Fedex return packs to return any unneeded samples.

Can I ship a rug directly to my client?

We do offer residentially shipping for curbside delivery only. For White Glove service, you will need to ship to a receiving warehouse initially.

Can my client buy, or get pricing, direct?

No. We do not sell to nor service consumers direct, online or through retail outlets. We are 100% trade exclusive. Only designers with an official, signed-up J. Leigh account can place a rug order. If you want your client to pay directly, they can do so only under your company account with your written consent.

Is there an additional cost to edit/customize my rug order?

There is no upcharge for custom shapes, custom color or changing the fiber &/or pattern on a rug. Only the change of construction (or quality) of how your rug is made, may require price adjusting.

Do you make custom staircase runners?

Yes! We can make runners for spiral staircases, tricky landing turns, large-scale pattern matching, etc. We will help with templates and guiding you to specify the appropriate product for a successful installation.

What is your leadtime?

Leadtime averages are based on the construction quality & the size of a rug.

All orders are imported from our weavers in India via air freight shipping (unless rug is oversized it will be required to ship LCL ocean freight which takes an additional 45-60 days).

Our leadtimes include rug production + import ship to J. Leigh warehouse in Arizona:

Handloom & Handwoven Rugs - average 8-to-10 weeks.

Handtufted Rugs - average 8-to12 weeks

Handknotted Rugs - average 12-to-17 weeks.

*Domestic shipping fob Arizona will take an additional 7 - 14 days depending on location & weather.

What is leadtime for custom rugs?

Custom leadtimes will vary.

For clients wanting to make minimal custom edits and go straight into rug production without a strikeoff for approval, leadtime will remain same & not be impacted.

Orders requiring a strikeoff for approval will require leadtime added.

Strikeoffs take 5-to-7 weeks or 6-to-8 weeks if handknotted.

Ordering a custom color in our Allure Silk Nylon can add additional leadtime up to 5+ weeks. Wool, Nylon or Outdoor PET custom colors should not add to leadtime.

What is required to place an order?

To activate an order, please send in your Purchase Order, or a signed Invoice for Deposit with a 50% deposit. Final payment is required before an order is released

Do you offer installation?

No, but we can help you find installation recommendations for your area.

What if my rug fails or comes in damaged?

We will always stand behind our products & replace any order that is deemed to be failing. We have company protocols in place to follow for any client claims. Please contact your representative immediately for instructions on filing a claim. If your rug comes in damaged, you must notify us within 24 hours. The damage MUST be noted when receiving & signing for the shipment. We will require pictures of the rug outside packaging it was delivered in. Please save the outside packaging. Pictures of the damaged are will be an absolute requirement to officially file a damage claim. J. Leigh will help to repair or replace any order with an approved damage/shipping claim.

Can I return my rug?

We do not allow returns since all orders are made-to-order.
